The number of DDoS attacks has increased significantly worldwide in recent years. Research by Check Point Research (CPR) shows that, last year, education and research sectors were the top targets for hackers worldwide, followed by government agencies and healthcare.
Increasingly complex and powerful, these attacks can be of several types, last several days or be fragmented over a longer period, causing significant damage.
Our new Advanced DDoS Security solution (launched last July) is the first step in proactively protecting you against volumetric attacks. It can also help to detect and block session attacks. However, it does not protect against applicative attacks.
