When would my organization need a Belnet Leased Line?

If you are not present in one of our PoPs, you will need a provider for the last mile.

If you want to have only one point of contact for your Internet connection.

If you want to have a service managed and monitored by Belnet on your premises, the Belnet Leased Line is the service you need.

What are the basic technical conditions to get a Belnet Leased Line?

There are almost no limitations as long as one of our accredited providers can deliver a line to your premises. A Belnet Leased Line comes with a Belnet Service Router, a router or a switch that we install in your data centre. We offer flexibility concerning the last physical connection (copper or fibre).

How can I do reports if Belnet controls everything for our organization?

With our services, you have access to a portal (my.belnet.be) where you can find all the useful information you need concerning your membership (services, tickets etc.) and graphs showing the utilization of your bandwidth.

Can I choose any kind of bandwidth with a Belnet Leased Line?

Almost. At Belnet, we make a distinction between the physical interface and the Internet bandwidth we allow.
The physical interface can be 1 Gbps or 10 Gbps (technologies for 40 Gpbs or 100 Gbps are available but not standard and need approval following a case study).
For the Internet bandwidth, you can get any multiple of 100 Mbps or 1 Gbps up to 10 Gbps (higher bandwidth is possible on demand).

As the line is leased, is a Belnet Leased Line secure?

Yes, all the providers we use have to respect strict specifications to ensure the security and integrity of the data.
