A few months ago, we presented to you a framework agreement relating to the maintenance and purchase of Ciena, Juniper, Nokia and F5 fibre optic and IP equipment for the Belnet community.
If you are one of the 30 institutions that have expressed an interest, we would like to keep you as informed as possible about the progress of the various stages of the contract-awarding process.
At present, the specifications have been completed and forwarded to our supervisory bodies. Once approved by the Council of Ministers, our schedule provides for various stages that have been set up according to a competitive procedure with negotiation.
However, this schedule is not fixed and is likely to be subject to substantial variations. Some steps could go much faster and others may take much longer.
We will certainly inform you of any changes to this schedule in the coming months.
