Last summer, our network engineers onboarded our Advanced DDoS Security customers to the brand-new Belnet Advanced DDoS Security Management Tool. This portal allows them to check in real time whether a DDoS attack is taking place and how the solution is mitigating it.
When their network is under attack, the dashboard shows which objects, IP addresses or prefixes are being redirected to the scrubbing center for mitigation.
Graphs display the volume of redirected traffic and what is being blocked, the number of new connections observed, an overview of their whole traffic through Netflow data and a mitigation breakdown, showing which attack vectors are being blocked.
The portal also comes with a preconfigured report that can be sent by mail to the DDoS CP after an attack if the attack bandwidth exceeded a threshold and the attack lasted longer than a set duration. In addition, customers can use a template to generate their own post-attack reports.
