Videoconferencing via a multipoint control unit (MCU) is an advanced solution for virtual meetings with a wide geographic spread of participants. Videoconferencing goes further than the standard solution that you possibly use today. It offers more possibilities and this at higher quality. The MCU is a videoconferencing exchange which receives images and sound from the different participants. The MCU is appropriate for conferences with a high number of participants (four or more).
