Belnet manages a total of three networks:

1. The Belnet network: the national research network for Belgian universities, colleges of higher education, schools, research centres and public services.

2. The Belgian National Internet eXchange (BNIX): the Belgian point of interconnect that makes possible high-speed data exchange, among others, between Internet service providers (ISP´s) and Internet content providers in Belgium.

3. The Federal Metropolitan Area Network (FedMAN): connects the buildings of the federal departments to each other and to the Internet.
