In 2010, Belnet had a budget of 13.029.214 euro to cover the totality of its activities.

This amount is made up of five types of revenue:

• the subsidy granted by the Belgian Science Policy Office
• income from invoiced services
• an amount from Fedict (FPS for Information and Communication Technology) for the FedMAN2 network
• an amount from Fedict (FPS for Information and Communication Technology) for CERT.be
• interest from financial investments

In 2010, Belnet had expenditures for a total of 10.068.000 euro.
