CERT.be is the federal cyber emergency team for Belgium. CERT.be works within a worldwide network of cyber security experts. It tackles security problems on the Internet via coordination, dissemination of information and awareness campaigns.
CERT.be is run by Belnet under the authority of the Information and Communication Technology Federal Public Service (Fedict).
ICT professionals can approach CERT.be free of charge and in complete confidentiality to report cyber incidents (hacked data and network infrastructure, phishing, cyber attacks, etc.). CERT.be offers advice on how to tackle the incident as quickly as possible and it coordinates with all the companies and organisations involved in the matter.
CERT.be provides citizens and companies with advice on using the Internet safely.
